Primary Objectives:

The primary objectives of the Order Management Specialist include:

  1. To provide exceptional customer service to assigned accounts, ensuring proactive management of orders and efficient communication with cross-functional teams.
  2. To manage the receipt and entry of original equipment and/or parts orders from field sales, verifying accuracy and completeness before acknowledgement.
  3. To collaborate with the Production Scheduling department to ensure timely communication of customer-requested ship dates and committed ship dates to field sales.
  4. To coordinate sales order changes with Production Scheduling, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to verify the plant's capabilities.
  5. To continuously enhance product knowledge and system proficiency.
  6. To utilize Hussmann's internal systems to analyze order data and generate reports.
  7. To maintain electronic order files through assigned systems.
