About the Role:
In this exciting position at Google Inc., you will leverage data to inform business and product decisions across the organization. As a Business Intelligence Solutions Lead, you will design and implement tools to automate reporting and generate insights that enable clients to quickly and accurately assess the performance of our key business products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with global strategy and operations leads, business program managers, data engineers, and data analysts to understand, implement, and deploy actionable Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions that will be deployed by the data engineering team.
- Design and guide the team to build innovative, user-oriented solutions for internal teams.
- Define user metrics for deployed tools, assess current state solutions, and outline strategies to improve overall adoption and usage.
- Drive best practice improvements for both system and process to achieve data integrity, data transparency, and an efficient user experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in program management.
- 3 years of experience with SQL and data manipulation, developing queries to answer business questions.
- Experience in data modeling, developing data sets, and creating visualizations using tools such as Looker, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar technologies.
