Job Description

Job Title: Project Finance and HR Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Finance and HR Manager to join our team at Fin-Hr. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing HR, Admin, and Financial activities and policies in the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate, analyze, and monitor the project's HR and Financial operational needs and the associated budget to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Plan, supervise, and ensure the implementation of HR processes, including recruitment, training, briefing, induction, evaluation, potential detection, development, and communication.
  • Advising on set-up and updating the project's organizational chart and job descriptions, and assisting in drawing up annual holiday planning and staff shifts.
  • Ensure hiring, amendments, and contract termination formalities for employees at project level are according to local labour laws.
  • Implement administrative procedures of Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) in force between local partners and MSF.
  • Implement circuits and workflows to anticipate expenses at project level and optimize cash needs and security.
  • Implement and supervise transactional procedures and systems to ensure transparent accounting practices and full documentary traceability.
  • Be responsible for all movements and/or accommodation of staff in the Project.

Requirements:

  • Working experience of at least two years in relevant and similar jobs.
  • Desirable: Working experience with MSF or other NGOs, in developing countries.
  • Essential: English (B1-B2 level).
  • Desirable: Knowledge of French will be an asset.
  • Microsoft collaboration platforms: Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • HR and Financial MSF software (Homère, FFC, SAGA).

Work Location: Where the needs of the project require it.

Remuneration: in the first 12 months, the bonus approximate gross monthly is USD $1,500. From the second year remuneration increases based on experience (previous and acquired) and the level of responsibility.
