Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for overseeing safety, health, and environmental program supervision activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement Company EHS programs and develop facility-specific procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and Company requirements.
- Participate in the development of EHS program components, including operational procedures, work instructions, training materials, standards, and more.
- Integrate Company and facility-level EHS management systems to maintain compliance, environmental protection, and safe operating conditions.
- Report and document environmental, health, and safety management systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and safe operating conditions.
- Reduce liability within a facility and ensure all safety and environmental recommendations are completed and documented.
- Compile process safety information for each covered process and keep it readily accessible to process employees and management.
- Use a structured process scorecard to measure and communicate Safety/Environmental performance with both leading results and indicators.
- Track and regularly report the status of regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain all governmental and corporate database records.
- Organize and control EH&S functions of the site to ensure an effective accident prevention program is maintained.
- Ensure the company stays in compliance with company and client policies and procedures as well as federal and state laws.
