Job Title: EHS Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:

As an EHS Compliance Specialist at Carrier Global Corporation, you will be responsible for developing procedures and permits to achieve and maintain compliance, environmental regulatory reports, and trainings and communications. This role will implement strategic EH&S initiatives to achieve and maintain the improvement of policies and programs to enhance EH&S performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops procedures, reports, permits and training across multiple EH&S disciplines to ensure compliance.
  • Implements strategic EH&S initiatives and coordinates tactical resources to achieve successful implementation.
  • Liaises with Facilities Management and business partners to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Analyzes and monitors audit findings to maintain safe work practices.
  • Develops environmental regulatory reports and submissions to ensure standard documentation.
  • Develops EH&S training and communications on important subjects to ensure procedures are understood and applied.
  • Coordinates environmental contract negotiation to ensure regulations conformity.

Requirements:

Requires advanced to expert knowledge obtained through education and experience. Substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems to make enhancements within job area. University Degree or equivalent. A minimum of 7 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
