We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at BD. As a key member of our Technical Services organization, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical advice, consultation, and troubleshooting to internal and external customers.

About the Role:
- Provide prompt and thorough responses to technical inquiries from internal and external customers via telephone and written communication.
- Generate and maintain proper complaint documentation in compliance with FDA (21 CFR) and ISO requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to assure timely follow-up and resolution of all technical inquiries and product issues.
- Support the 24/7 Technical Service telephone line by providing emergency technical assistance during rotations of evening, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage.
- Promote and ensure a culture of privacy and security related to PHI and HIPAA.
Requirements:
- B.S. Degree in Life Science required.
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in clinical or reference microbiology laboratory, hospital or reference cytology laboratory, industrial microbiology laboratory (pharmaceutical environmental monitoring and/or food microbiology testing), or biotech/academic molecular laboratory.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills both written and verbal.
- Conversational English required.
- Proficient using MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Self-motivated and action-oriented team player with ability to multi-task and adapt to changing business environment(s).
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, organization/prioritization skills, and a passion for providing superior service.
