Job Summary:

Quantum Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Software Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions to support product testing during the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain test code using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, Visual Basic, Lua, Python, and C++.
  • Design and implement test processes for new products, including PCBA test strategy and component qualification.
  • Collaborate with contract manufacturers and global supply chains to ensure seamless integration of test processes.
  • Analyze and evaluate data to recommend solutions and implement improvements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and debug products.
  • Develop and maintain test requirements documents, test code, and data analytics.
  • Participate in 8D/Fishbone methodology implementation and end-of-quarter closing processes.

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong experience with coding tools, including C++, Python, SQL, C#, Visual Basic, Lua, Jira, and GitLab.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturing and global supply chains.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Reporting and recordkeeping skills with clear communication.
