Mechanical Product Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Product Design Engineer to join our team at Panasonic Ecology Systems De Mexico, S. A. De C.V. in Mexico. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing innovative and high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new product designs that meet company business strategy requirements, focusing on swift actions, innovative solutions, cost efficiency, and high-quality products.
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for new products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and design specifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product requirements, suggest design improvements, and manage daily activities.
- Execute project activities to verify product compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements, including design reviews.
- Design and develop products using Solidworks, Autocad, and other relevant tools, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work closely with vendors to negotiate and manage mold/die products, including injection molding and press forming for metal sheets.
- Construct and analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) and provide feedback to management on task feasibility and time management.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Proficient in English.
- Knowledge of Solidworks, Autocad, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with mechanical evaluations, such as vibration, drop, and temperature tests.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Oracle and SAP.
- Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Excellent team work skills.
