Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to our high standards.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use.
  2. Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked foods.
  3. Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures, including personal hygiene procedures.
  4. Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout shift.
  5. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and security.

Requirements

  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
