Editorial Grants Correction Consultant

Job Summary:

The Editorial Grants Correction Consultant will support donor organizations by reviewing and correcting style in editorial materials and texts intended for diverse audiences. The Consultant will collaborate with the responsible department to ensure an intersectional approach and maintain open communication for effective coordination and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and edit writing, spelling, style, clarity, and language usage in documents and materials developed by donor organizations, considering inclusive language and an intersectional approach.
• Provide regular updates and evidence of completed tasks.
• Attend in-person or virtual meetings convened by PDP to develop the consultancy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in communication, literature, linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in style correction of texts.
• Experience in freedom of expression, human rights, and social advocacy issues is preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
