Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our Facilities and Maintenance team at our Queretaro site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability and availability of our equipment, ensuring optimal operation and minimizing downtime. You will work closely with our Quality, Production, and EHS teams to achieve our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Maintain a good understanding of plant/equipment conditions and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures.
- Respond to work orders and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Monitor plant/equipment to ensure optimal settings and working conditions, collaborating with Quality to minimize defects and reworks.
- Work with Production to minimize waste and unplanned downtime, and with EHS to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
- Support the development and implementation of improvements to minimize downtime for line changes and cleaning.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute CAPEX projects, including an ambitious capacity increase Master Plan.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Degree in Mechatronic, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- +5 years experience in maintenance, engineering or technical field, preferably in the Flexographic Industry.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Operation of maintenance shop machinery (desired).
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software, including AutoCAD or SolidWorks (desired).
