Job Summary:

This role executes, reviews, and follows up on day-to-day operations for cross-border shipments in a timely manner, complying with regulations and ensuring seamless logistics for all Mexico plants.



Key Responsibilities:

The Global Trade Specialist will be responsible for:

  1. Executing and following up on day-to-day imports and exports.
  2. Managing virtual operations and creating manual invoices.
  3. Ensuring timely customs clearance and executing legal records.
  4. Inputting Annex 24 data.


Scope & Impact:

This role provides key communication and execution with suppliers and internal clients to ensure all operations are executed in a timely manner, meeting the company's certification requirements.



Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree in International Commerce or a related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  2. Knowledge of import and export processes.
  3. Basic proficiency in English.
  4. Up to 5% travel required.


Preferred Requirements:

Experience in permit reviewing and logistics is highly desirable.



Work Environment:

This role is based in an office environment with no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands. Regularly required to sit, perform repetitive hand motions, and communicate with colleagues.
