Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at Intel. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading and participating in electrical and logical design teams in multidisciplinary Server Platform PCB HW design projects throughout the project life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and/or participate in electrical and logical design teams in multidisciplinary Server Platform PCB HW design projects.
  • Make or lead contributions from pathfinding, technical feasibility assessments, requirements definition, electrical design execution, testing, debugging, and customer support.
  • Effectively interact and communicate with PCB design team members and all system-wide solution organizations and stakeholders.
  • Process and implement hardware architectural definition, integrating it with multi-organizational information.
  • Implement electrical design, prepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and analyze test reports.
  • Ensure products conform to standards and specifications.
  • Develop plans and cost estimates and assess projects to analyze risk.
  • Develop procedures, analysis, and design for computer components, products, and systems.
  • Initiate, guide, and coordinate overall design and development of new ideas and products.
  • Respond to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
  • Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
Requirements
  • Advanced English level.
  • 4+ years of experience in Board HW design, working with one of the following disciplines: SI/VR/CAD/PI/ or related.
  • Working with Industrial Computer Aided Design (CAD) toolset for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) design such as Cadence, ORCAD, Proteus or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree/3+ years in Board HW design, working with one of the following disciplines: SI/VR/CAD/PI/ or related.
  • Working with Industrial Computer Aided Design (CAD) toolset for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) design such as Cadence, ORCAD, Proteus or similar.
  • Experience with Intel Server architecture.
  • Experience in Signal Integrity for PCB design.
  • Experience with Field Programmable Gate-Array (FPGA) and Programmable Logic Design (PLD).
