Job Overview

The Senior Manager, Cash and Trade Operations, will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple teams within the Cash and Trade Operations unit. This role will ensure that transactions are processed accurately and on time, in coordination with the Transaction Services team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage staff resource allocation and ensure teams meet performance and quality expectations.
  2. Develop and oversee the budget for the Cash and Trade Operations unit.
  3. Resolve complex issues with significant departmental impact.
  4. Evaluate performance and make recommendations for training/development, pay increases, hiring, terminations, and other personnel actions.
  5. Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining workflow standards.
  6. Contribute to the objectives of the entire Transaction Services function.
  7. Assess risk when business decisions are made and demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
  8. Effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability.
Requirements:
  1. 6-10 years of experience in a related senior level role with experience in trade/cash operations and management.
  2. Proven experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance.
  3. Effective verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
Education:

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
