The Senior Advanced Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of products in accordance with PRP and customer-specific requirements. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventive actions in projects, aligning with customer requirements, YFAI, and Business Unit standards.
  • Communicate with customers regarding quality-related issues and disseminate customer requirements to the SDT team.
  • Coordinate and lead quality-related activities in the program, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Update and maintain quality-related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in workgroups, such as FMEA and PSMC, to provide quality input and ensure effective collaboration.
  • Facilitate communication between relevant departments, including SDT, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Customer, to coordinate corrective actions for product deviations.
  • Regularly report APQP status in the program, including customer-specific reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Apply and develop BOS (Management System) to enhance quality management.
  • Coordinate APQP activities at the supplier base, executed by Supplier Quality, and maintain communication with SDT members and Customer.
  • Interface with Supplier Quality, SDT, and Customer to ensure effective collaboration and quality delivery.
  • Plan and execute PPAP in accordance with customer requirements, utilizing the Customer Portal.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in quality-related activities in a development and/or production environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably interior products.
  • Experience working with German/European OEMs is preferred.
  • Product audit experience, particularly cubing, is beneficial.
  • MSA experience is mandatory.
  • Solid knowledge of quality tools, including CP, PFMEA, Poka Yokes, and control of non-conforming material.
  • PPAP experience is mandatory.
  • APQP experience is mandatory, with a minimum of 5 years of experience preferably.
  • Customer portal experience, particularly B2B experience, is preferred.
