We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Project Development Manager to join our team at CEMEX. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of solar and wind projects, as well as the administration of project agreements and contracts.
Main Responsibilities- Project Development: Develop and execute solar and wind projects, including feasibility studies, basic and detailed engineering, and permitting.
- Project Administration: Administer project agreements and contracts, including Project Administration Agreements (PAA) and Maintenance Agreements (MOMA).
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including construction teams and external vendors.
- Capex Management: Manage and execute capital expenditures (Capex) for solar and wind projects, including SCOPE-2 pipeline management.
- Land Acquisition: Support land acquisition and control for project sites.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, and a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field.
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience in electrical markets related to renewable energy project development, and 5+ years of experience in project administration contract agreements.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of wind turbines, solar panels, and batteries, as well as project management and leadership skills.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of:
- Wind turbines and solar panels (& batteries) equipment and market vendors.
- Project management software and tools.
- Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and multifunctional environment.
The successful candidate will have strong relationships with:
- CEMEX's energy commercial areas, engineering & construction, and procurement teams.
- Wind turbines and solar panels (& batteries) vendors, engineering and construction firms, government institutions, and environmental firms.
