About Amt - The Association For Manufacturing Technology
We are a leading organization in the manufacturing technology industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled Field Sales Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Frequently visit customers, distributors, and OEM accounts to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Prospect and qualify potential new customers and distributors to expand our business.
- Build bottom-up forecasting reports from firsthand customer information to inform our sales strategy.
- Work booths and visit tradeshows and other events to showcase our products and services.
- Present sales and project information internally to ensure alignment with our business goals.
- Prepare periodic internal reports on sales territory status, customer projects, and customer visits to track our progress.
- Interpret and respond to customer leads that come into our system to ensure timely follow-up.
- Occasional application-specific support of all Mexico customers to ensure their success with our products.
Requirements:
- Technical degree (preferred) and 2 years minimum experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
- 3 years minimum experience in sales, ideally in the fields of machine tool, robotics, or automation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing industries and territory management experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish, as well as presentation skills.

Salary: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per month.
