Job Title: Sales Engineer for Enterprise Networks

Corning is a leading innovator in materials science, and we're seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Sales Engineer for Enterprise Networks, you will be responsible for maximizing sales of our optical communications products in your assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve planned sales levels and budgets while maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Conduct sales calls to implement account strategies and support business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with assigned accounts and distributors in Mexico.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the Mexican EN telecom market and COC products.
  • Act as a consultative expert to customers, ensuring they can easily order, receive, install, and maintain our products.
  • Provide weekly activity reports and sales call summaries to your supervisor.
  • Close contact and quarterly revisions with distributors.
  • Coordinate customer care activities to support account and distributor needs.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, customer product showcases, and demonstrations.
Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
  • Advanced degrees in other disciplines can be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of customers and commercial practices, with 2-4 years of experience in commercial sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Willingness to travel within Mexico and internationally.
