As an Engineering Supervisor at Enovis México, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to deliver results on time and providing engineering solutions for all aspects of product manufacturing. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, cost, and lead time requirements.
- Coordinate sustaining activities related to manufacturing engineering.
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes.
- Execute standardization of manufacturing processes.
- Lead and supervise multifunctional projects and initiatives.
- Develop and lead the engineering department, promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Monitor and control labor routing and support.
- Coordinate with engineering to update visual aids and work instructions.
- Support validation protocols and lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Purchase new equipment for assembly of new products.
- Coordinate with maintenance on downtime projects.
- Component production scheduling and inventory management.
- Problem-solving and 6 Sigma methodologies.
- Good manufacturing practices with the engineering team.
- Participate in lean initiatives and generate cost savings ideas.
- Initiate and manage capital expenditure approvals.
- Analyze and improve processes to improve productivity and scrap rates.
- Coordinate support for customer complaints and quality aspects.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- 5 years of experience in sustaining/manufacturing engineering.
- Industrial engineer career.
- Black belt certification preferred.
- Project management principles.
- DOE & Statistics.
- Lean concepts.
- Change engineering orders.
- Read drawings specifications.
- BOM structures.
- Labor routings.
- FDA regulation related to medical devices.
- Advanced English level.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
Experience:
- Sustaining/manufacturing engineer: 5 years (preferred).
- Engineering supervisor: 2 years (preferred).
Language:
- English fluently (preferred).
Work Location:
- In person.
