**Job Summary**

Amco Servicios Educativos is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to design and support a fault-tolerant and scalable server architecture for our digital properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux OS, web servers, scripting, and automation, as well as experience with cloud computing services and deployments.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Design and implement a server architecture that meets the needs of our digital properties

• Collaborate with the development team, QA, PM's, and UI/UX to provide solutions that meet the team's needs

• Ensure the server architecture is fault-tolerant and can scale as needed

• Work with cloud computing services and deployments to ensure seamless integration

• Monitor and maintain the server architecture to ensure optimal performance

**Requirements**

• 2 years of experience with Linux OS and various distributions

• 2 years of experience working with web servers in a highly redundant environment

• Experience with scripting and automation to maintain and implement systems

• Experience with cloud computing services and deployments

• Experience with monitoring and metrics collection software

• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a wide range of technical and non-technical team members

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, firewalls, and load balancing

• Fundamentals of Linux server administration

• Working knowledge of code repository systems, specifically Git

• Understanding of programming techniques and structures

• Ability to discern unsafe practices and proactively suggest solutions that meet Amco's standards for security and compliance

**Language Skills**

• Fluent spoken and written English

• Elixir and Erlang based software

• Python

• Bash

• PHP (a plus)
