We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our In-House Agency at Avantor. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for leading the design direction of major campaigns and collaborating closely with senior leaders to drive business impact.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Design Leadership: Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company's business goals, working closely with project managers and senior leadership to translate complex business strategies into visually compelling creative solutions.
- Design Strategy and Execution: Partner with the Art Director to shape the visual identity and ensure consistency across all media, driving innovation and excellence in design.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders and clients, ensuring a deep understanding of project goals and leading the presentation of creative concepts.
- Innovation and AI Integration: Lead the research and integration of emerging design trends, technologies, and AI tools to push the boundaries of creative excellence and drive innovation within the design team.
- Brand Stewardship: Uphold and evolve the Avantor brand identity, ensuring all creative outputs are aligned with brand guidelines while also pushing the creative envelope.
- Resource Management and Optimization: Oversee the efficient management of design resources, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- A four-year related degree (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 10 years of design experience in an in-house creative department or design firm.
- Must have English C2 proficiency, verbal and written.
- Demonstrated proficiency in design principles, including layout, composition, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong ability to align design projects with company business goals and target audience needs, translating marketing strategies into compelling visual concepts.
- Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale design projects, with a focus on both print and digital media.
- Expertise in graphic production processes and advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Adaptable and quick learner, with a background in biopharma or life sciences a plus.
- A portfolio that showcases high-level design skills and leadership in creative problem-solving.
