Job Description
A Quality Manager with expertise in the trucking and oil & gas industry, focusing on forging processes, is required. The ideal candidate will specialize in scrap reduction and minimizing customer complaints. Responsibilities include overseeing quality control systems, implementing continuous improvement strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of reducing scrap rates and improving product reliability, leading to enhanced customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience in Quality Management: Extensive experience as a Quality Manager in the trucking and oil & gas industry, with a strong focus on forging processes.
- Expertise in Scrap Reduction: Proven track record of successfully implementing strategies to reduce scrap rates, leading to significant cost savings and improved operational efficiency.
- Customer Complaint Management: Skilled in analyzing and addressing customer complaints, with a focus on root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to minimize recurrence.
- Continuous Improvement: Strong background in driving continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Industry Standards Compliance: Deep understanding of industry-specific quality standards and regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the production process.
- Technical Knowledge in Forging: Strong technical knowledge of forging processes, materials, and related quality control measures.
