Job Title: Referral Coordinator

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Referral Coordinator to join our team at Md Medical Group. As a Referral Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare specialists, and insurance companies.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Obtain authorizations for referral requests received as assigned
  • Review and understand documentation required by insurance companies, including clinical notes and lab results
  • Utilize insurance web portals to obtain authorizations as required
  • Accurately document referral details, including status, authorization dates, and authorization number
  • Effectively communicate updates in referral status with patients, clinicians, and office site staff

**Requirements:**

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instruction in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
