Position Overview:

The CNC Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the performance of CNC machinery, products, and operational processes. This position entails programming and installing new equipment that has been integrated into the AMETEK facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain optimal working conditions for CNC machines across all divisions.
  • Prepare and operate CNC machinery to execute tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling.
  • Interpret specifications and desired outcomes by analyzing blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Inspect and measure finished products, ensuring compliance with established requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate improvements and enhancements within the RHT division.
  • Diagnose failures and make informed decisions to resolve issues.
  • Develop and document procedures and work instructions.
  • Manage spare parts inventory effectively.
  • Foster teamwork through knowledge sharing.
  • Engage in supplier development initiatives.
  • Support audit processes, including ISO 9000 compliance.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Electro-mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in machining centers or similar environments. Proficiency in GD&T, computer programming, and CAD/CAM systems is essential, along with experience in multi-axis machinery and the ability to interpret technical prints. Familiarity with the MS Office suite is also necessary.

Language Skills:

Bilingual proficiency is required.
