Position Overview:

The CNC Engineer is tasked with ensuring the optimal functionality of CNC machinery, products, and associated processes. This role encompasses the programming and installation of newly acquired equipment at Ametek HT Reynosa.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain excellent operational conditions of CNC machinery across all divisions.
  • Prepare and operate CNC machines for various tasks, including drilling, grinding, and milling.
  • Interpret specifications and desired outcomes by analyzing blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Conduct inspections and measurements of finished products to verify compliance with requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement improvements and coordinate efforts within the RHT division.
  • Diagnose failures and make informed decisions for troubleshooting.
  • Develop and document procedures and work instructions.
  • Manage spare parts inventory effectively.
  • Foster teamwork by sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Engage in supplier development initiatives.
  • Support audit processes in accordance with ISO 9000 standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electro-mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in machining centers or similar environments.
  • Proficient in GD&T, computer programming, and CAD/CAM systems.
  • Experience with multi-axis machines and ability to interpret technical prints.
  • Familiarity with the MS Office suite.
  • Bilingual proficiency is required.
