About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at Flexitech. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading and executing sourcing strategies to achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead and participate in contract reviews and negotiations with suppliers, ensuring best terms and conditions for Flexitech.
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attain targets, directing and overseeing the organization's purchasing functions.
  • Team Leadership: Coach, motivate, and develop team members, ensuring high operational standards and a culture of excellence.
  • Supplier Management: Pre-qualify and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best possible service quality and terms.
  • Category Management: Analyze categories of spend to determine potential opportunities for cost optimization and develop policies related to procurement of goods and services.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with commercial and technical requirements, managing risk and ensuring the organization's procurement activities meet regulatory standards.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  • Skillset: Excellent negotiating skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to influence people at all levels.
