About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at EssilorLuxottica. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance department and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Oversee a team of maintenance technicians and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
    • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
    • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and running efficiently.
    • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed to minimize downtime and optimize production.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Manage inventory levels of spare parts and materials to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting
    • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure maintenance department performance.
    • Provide regular reports to management on maintenance department performance and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. engineering, maintenance management).
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance management, with a strong background in industrial maintenance and repair.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with production teams and suppliers.
    • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies.
