**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Media.Monks. As an AR Specialist, you will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks related to AR review and reporting of customer collection activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with the Billing and Account Management team to resolve customer billing inquiries, disputes, or billing issues.
  • Monitor and respond to AR-related inquiries in the billing queue.
  • Track A/R aging and conduct collection outreach and follow-up notices for outstanding invoices.
  • Facilitate improvements to the effectiveness and efficiency of current processes.
  • Provide status reports detailing key collection issues and establish proactive steps for resolutions.
  • Communicate with customers regarding short payments, overpayments, and missing or incorrect payments.
  • Monitor daily Accounts Receivable activity for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Determine the significance of AR issues and follow established procedures to achieve positive solutions.
  • Investigate and resolve customer invoice and payment inquiries with internal teams for effective resolutions.
  • Provide value-added service to customers to meet or exceed expectations; develop and maintain ongoing customer relationships; and interact positively with internal teams.

**Requirements**

  • 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
  • 1+ years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Upper Intermediate English communication skills (both written and spoken).
  • Basic data entry skills.
  • QuickBooks and Netsuite experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excel in analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
