SAP Analytics Cloud Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Analytics Cloud Developer to join our team at SAP SE. As a key member of our Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery (GCID) team, you will be responsible for leveraging SAP Analytic Cloud (SAC) to develop and deliver insightful reports and data visualizations that drive informed decision-making across our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and business objectives;
- Design and develop interactive and dynamic reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using SAP Analytic Cloud;
- Work closely with business analysts and data engineers to gather, prepare, and analyze data from various sources including SAP HANA, BW, S/4HANA, and other external sources;
- Establish and maintain best practices for SAC reporting, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and usability;
- Train and support end-users on how to interact with and interpret SAC reports and dashboards;
- Stay up-to-date with SAP Analytic Cloud capabilities and recommend new features or enhancements to improve reporting efficiencies;
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in SAP Analytics Cloud front-end development;
- Have strong analytical skills and thorough understanding of data visualization principles and best practices;
- Proficient in data modeling, visualizations, and the design/development of dashboards (especially related to business KPI's);
- Expertise and practical usage of SAC data connectivity options and integration of multiple data sources into visualization models (incl. HANA Database, SQLs DB family);
- Ability to work with a backend by doing data optimization on a source level, smart data search and filtering;
- Good communicator, ideally with the ability to present ideas or solutions clearly to technical and non-technical audience;
- Good to have: Other business intelligence tools (SAP BOBJ, Tableau, PowerBI, SAP HANA, BW, S/4HANA etc.);
- Good to have: Proficient in SAC scripting and advanced analytics capabilities;
- Familiar with HCSM system is a plus.
