SAP FI Financial Solutions Architect

We are seeking a Financial Solutions Architect with expertise in SAP FICO and related areas to join our team of innovators. Does this resonate with you?


In your role as a Financial Solutions Architect – Procure to Pay, you will:

Assist in demand management during the ideation phase and initial stages of IM projects. Provide solutions that align with existing technical and functional frameworks to ensure adherence to strategy, policies, guidelines, budget, and operational supportability. Ensure quality and consistency in functional template design for deployments. Stay informed about emerging technologies in your area of expertise. Build and maintain robust relationships with Finance process owners globally, becoming a trusted advisor for business processes in your domain. Lead and/or engage in projects within the SAP FICO domain, including integration with other SAP modules and applications.

In your future role as a Financial Solutions Architect, you will:

Define project charters and translate them into detailed requirements in accordance with Nouryon's project methodology. Convert business requirements into solutions and/or solution directions. Define, agree upon, and communicate the roadmap for the applications in scope. Review impact assessments and solution directions for change requests. Maintain up-to-date IM documentation and CMDB for the business processes and applications in scope. Ensure quality and consistency in template design for deployments by reviewing designs and builds. Support testing and training activities for change requests and projects. Contribute to and initiate continuous improvement efforts.

We believe you bring:

A Master's degree in business management, computer science, or a related field. Extensive experience as a SAP FICO professional in IT and/or Finance business roles. In-depth experience in the SAP P2P domain, including hands-on experience with SAP VIM / OpenText solutions. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work in a global environment and understand regional specifics. Broad knowledge and experience of architecture, technology platforms, and business domains with relevant experience in SAP FICO, including expertise in P2P applications like SAP VIM, Concur, OpenText, Tax solutions, and integration with Ariba and SAP MM. Practical experience in SAP FICO implementation projects and programs. Problem-solving skills utilizing knowledge, experience, and analysis of available information.

It would be advantageous if you have:

Knowledge of and experience in technical components of OpenText. Familiarity with Celonis (process mining).
