Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to join our team at the Hilton Cancun an All Inclusive in Cancun, Mexico. As an Events Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning and execution of all conferences and events within the hotel.

Your key responsibilities will include maximizing meeting and events sales revenue opportunities, ensuring high standards of event management, and building strong relationships with customers and guests. You will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department, developing team members, and ensuring accurate administration and control of meetings and events related reservations and blocks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in an event planning environment
  • Good organization skills
  • Able to 'close' a sale
  • Previous experience in a sales environment – either proactive or reactive
