Job Summary

Lionbridge is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop tools and solutions for repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Integrate new solutions with existing tools and pipelines
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in C# and C++
  • Debug C# and C++ code in the context of Unreal Engine automation solutions
  • Develop, maintain, and improve automation solutions and tools
  • Integrate tools and automation solutions with CI systems
  • Contribute to the overall technical vision of the team
  • Instrument product code to improve its testability
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with software testing best practices and industry trends

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in tools and automation development in desktop/console gaming environments or similar roles
  • Experience with Unreal Engine game development and CI/build systems
  • Expert code debugging skills in C++ and C#
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Adept with version control concepts
  • Fluent English
  • Experience with algorithms and data structures
  • Experience with bug tracking tools
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • Professional coding experience in other programming languages
  • Major console devkits experience
  • Experience in game development lifecycle
