ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a seasoned professional in Financial Planning and Analysis to oversee the budgetary processes for our Refrigeration division. This role involves assessing actual financial outcomes for accuracy and variances compared to forecasts and previous estimates, while collaborating with business unit finance leaders to gain insights into their financial performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create comprehensive financial analyses, forecasts, and strategic plans to inform long-term business decisions.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Digital, and other departments to analyze and review departmental expenditures and variances against forecasts.
  • Work closely with department leaders to identify key financial drivers, trends, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the Annual Operating Plan.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for quarterly management reviews.
  • Engage with accounting and other teams to facilitate thorough analysis of the Profit & Loss statement and other critical business metrics.
  • Participate in special projects and provide support to business units as required.
  • Proficient use of software including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Oracle HFM.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in finance or a related field, or a Master’s/MBA with 5+ years in a similar role.
  • Proficient in English, capable of engaging in fluent and assertive discussions with global teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in spreadsheet development, with advanced knowledge of financial consolidation systems (HFM preferred) and MS Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and senior management.
AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Willingness to work on-site.
  • Availability during standard business hours, Monday to Friday.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP, financial reporting requirements, and budgeting/forecasting methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and effective in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong business acumen and innovative problem-solving abilities.
