**Job Summary**

A key member of our logistics team, the Logistics Analyst will analyze the site's logistics function and recommend best practices. This role is responsible for monitoring shipments, interacting with other departments, and resolving exceptions in a timely manner.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

  • Perform all necessary manual system transactions for materials functions or transaction types.
  • Monitor shipment of materials, products, or finished goods between sites and other Jabil locations or partners.
  • Interact with other departments or areas to expedite shipments of materials efficiently.
  • Interact with Business Unit, partners, and/or providers to resolve exceptions as they occur.
  • Process freight claims for lost or damaged freight.
  • Research and resolve exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Perform Information Systems transactions to accurately reflect movement of materials.
  • Reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Perform Stop-Ship segregation and status of such.
  • Provide customer/management reports on accurate state of inventory as needed.
  • Report weekly and monthly performance metrics.

**Job Qualifications**

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer, including using a Windows-based operating system and related software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
