At The British American Tobacco Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Monterrey.

The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, installation and maintenance of electronic and control equipment, and vision systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic and control equipment.
  • Designing and implementing vision systems for quality control and inspection.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement control systems.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation and procedures.
  • Providing technical support and training to colleagues.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, or mechatronics.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, including C++, C#, and Python.
  • Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Solid Edge.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, such as TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, and Twincat.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
