Key Responsibilities- Strive for excellence in all endeavors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Direct and guide Manufacturing Engineering Technicians to optimize machine and process efficiency, ensuring seamless operations and maximum yields.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement corrective actions, driving process improvements and cost reductions.
- Develop and maintain procedures to ensure operational excellence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Provide expertise and guidance to Manufacturing Engineering Technicians and Machine Support Technicians on machine adjustments, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Manage the coverage of Manufacturing Engineering Technician duties in assigned plant(s), ensuring seamless operations and minimal downtime.
- Assist Manufacturing Engineers in determining optimum process performance, leveraging expertise in I.R. reflow profiles, wave solder profiles, and design for manufacturing (DFM).
- Ensure data integrity functions, such as program and PD back-ups, are completed regularly on all lines in assigned plant(s).
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, including managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
- Ability to write clear and concise correspondence, read and understand visual aids, and follow two-step instructions.
