**About the Role**

Cognizant is seeking an exceptional IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end project lifecycles, managing integrated technology solutions and digital transformations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead upstream processes encompassing business requirements gathering, scoping, chartering, planning, and scheduling.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of resource options, ensuring precise cost estimates and budget management.
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation and oversee continuous reporting for enhanced visibility.
  • Monitor project health through performance metrics and financial data analysis to guide informed decisions.
  • Implement robust project change control and risk management protocols to maintain project alignment.
  • Foster client relationships, positioning projects for sustained success.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and tool enhancements.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or a related field; advanced project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
  • 4 years of direct experience managing multifaceted IT implementations.
  • Thorough understanding of the technical landscape within the client's domain, encompassing IT infrastructure, networking protocols, cloud computing, cybersecurity principles, software development methodologies, and relevant industry standards.
  • Proficiency in utilizing project management tools, such as Jira or Microsoft Project, collaboration platforms like Slack or Teams, and technical tools specific to the client's operations.
  • Ability to oversee and manage projects requiring complex systems integration, ensuring seamless interoperability and functionality across various platforms and technologies.
  • Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating technical risks, whether they involve infrastructure vulnerabilities, software defects, or compatibility challenges.
  • Capability to translate client requirements into technical solutions, aligning them with the client's offerings and capabilities.
  • Advocacy for a culture of continuous improvement, empowering teams to propose and implement process enhancements and technical innovations.
  • Competence in crafting comprehensive project strategies that align with both technical requirements and the overarching business objectives of the client and its stakeholders.
  • Strong decision-making skills, adept at resolving conflicts and making informed choices that balance technical feasibility with business imperatives.
