Job Title: Financial Transaction Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Transaction Specialist to join our team at the LEGO Group. As a key member of our Business Service and Operations department, you will be responsible for processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
  • Generate reports detailing accounts payables status.
  • Assist with month-end closing.
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business Administration, Business Affairs or similar.
  • 3-5 years experience in Procure to Pay functions.
  • IT skills in Microsoft Office at intermediate level.
  • SAP knowledge preferably, or other ERP.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and high-quality oriented.
  • High customer service approach.
  • Experience in working in highly collaborative environments.
  • Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Accountant.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Data entry skills along with a curiosity about numbers.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
