Category Manager for Retail Chain

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to manage all facets of business, category, operations, and sourcing management for our retail and consumer goods clients. The Category Manager will be responsible for driving exceptional revenue growth by analyzing sales data, identifying opportunities, and developing and implementing strategic action plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement and sales plans to manage relationships with retail stores and suppliers, managing Private Brand items.
- Oversee management planning, merchandising, and pricing strategies for all categories in collaboration with supplier partners and manufacturers.
- Spearhead category review management and implementation to analyze and improve overall performance.
- Fulfill revenue targets and discover growth opportunities by cultivating strategic alliances with customer's leadership team, operations, store-level managers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
- Present monthly PB sales results to retailer's executive Team.
- Uncover areas of improvement for retailer's private brand program by initiating store audits.
- Realize performance metrics for Private Brand product management by training staff/evaluating performance.
- Drive organizational revenue growth and customer service initiatives by devising and implementing inclusive sales and marketing plans and mobilizing sales teams.
- Optimize key operations, such as sourcing and supply chain management, sales, P&L management, inventory, and human resources.
- Meet customer expectations pertaining to product availability through seamless implementation of 4Ps of retail.
- Drive Private Brand's annual sales growth and increase product catalog.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business, category, operations, and sourcing management across diverse corporate sectors including retail and consumer goods.
- Proven track record of steering exceptional revenue growth by analyzing sales data, identifying opportunities, and developing and implementing strategic action plans.
- Adept at cultivating cost-effective international and local supplier pipelines with strong management and customer service experience.
- Accomplished in leading projects through project definition to execution, evaluation, and operational support phases.
- Articulate communicator; adept at securing profitable partnerships, promoting constructive employee relations/cross-functional collaboration, and fostering professional relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in budget planning, problem-solving abilities, and Project Scope Design.
- Bilingual communicator, fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Able to travel throughout Mexico and the US to the different regions where the retailer has presence to conduct store PB revisions.
