The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will play a key role in our mechanical design team, working on gas turbine core components. As a central member of the team, you will be responsible for creating geometry and obtaining feedback from other team members to deliver optimized solutions that meet project requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team spanning multiple continents. You will have the chance to study customer needs and fleet reports to guide your team's design approach. You will also work with technical specialists in analytical and manufacturing fields to develop optimized design solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Study customer needs and fleet reports to guide your team's design approach.
- Work with technical specialists in analytical and manufacturing fields to develop optimized design solutions.
- Participate in validation and verification work as your design solutions approach production.
- Conduct root cause analysis for components in which you've developed a specialization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Fluency in English.
- At least 10 years of experience as a Project Design Specialist in a multi-disciplinary mechanical design team.
- Interest in gas turbine technology and its development to remain a relevant technology through the energy transition.
- Possession of engineering skills and knowledge.
