About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist for our Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team in Mexico. In this role, you will support procurement operations, including forecasting, inventory management, purchase order creation, and monitoring.

You will also participate in supplier management KPI and metrics reporting, as well as develop strategies to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will provide procurement guidance to stakeholders and drive efficiencies across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Site Procurement Operations Manager to provide procurement operations for the building, including forecasting of non-inventory products, inventory management, and cycle counts.
  • Manage non-inventory receiving and develop deep knowledge of building Non Inventory items to drive best practices.
  • Develop and maintain supplier scorecards and manage related KPI to measure, control, and benchmark procurement processes.
  • Support relationship development across the building and network, and align with Internal customers, Finance, and Procurement Operations to understand budgetary targets by building.
  • Assist in building the category metrics model based on input from the category team to track and monitor performance to the category strategy.
