NPI Sourcing Lead

Tecma is seeking a highly skilled NPI Sourcing Lead to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing direct materials and supplier selection to support New Products Introduction (NPI) programs.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve optimal business results.
- Develop strategies for goods and services based on market knowledge, business requirements, and competition.
- Identify key contract risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Manage relationships across all department lines and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Create strategic alliances with vendors and develop long-term supply partnerships.
- Monitor and continuously improve supplier performance against contractual standards.
- Secure commitment from suppliers in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
- Implement cost reduction plans with suppliers and lead various sourcing projects and transfers.
- Evaluate supplier reliability and align with Supplier Engineering, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain Management to develop new supply sources as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Proficient in both English and Spanish.
- Passport and US visa available.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices, including strategic sourcing, market analysis, contracting methodologies, risk analysis, and supplier performance management.
- Analytical skills to aggregate, normalize, and analyze spend data to identify trends and prioritize strategic procurement opportunities.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, establish targets, and develop implementation plans in support of business objectives.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with various disciplines and levels within the organization.
- Ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Experience in the mechanical trade, including sheet metal fabrication, welding, and solid state electrical assembly.
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday.
