Production Manager

Vertiv is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Team Management: Collaborate with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements, lead and develop self-driving teams, and manage people.
- Production Planning and Control: Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines, manage production, and ensure optimal use of equipment (OEE).
- Quality and Continuous Improvement: Lead daily APUs War room (SQCDP), lead workstation ergonomics risk analysis and elimination, and manage the VSM deployment plan Flow of his/her APU or plant areas.
- Customer Satisfaction and Relations: Be responsible for customer satisfaction, validate the Lean Process Design for new projects, and ensure a positive social climate on his/her APUs.
- Financial Management: Manage the budget of his/her APUs, allocate the appropriate resources in respect with the budget perimeter, and implement necessary corrective actions for compliance.
- At minimum 7-10 years of experience in Manufacturing, Metal Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
- BS degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong transformational leadership and emotional Intelligence, effective communication, Strategic thinking, Problem-solving, Self-development objective.
- MS Office, Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Experience managing a headcount or 1000+ people.
- Desired Six Sigma Green Belt certified and exposure to Operative systems based on Toyota Production Systems.
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP system.
- Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Personnel and Human Resources — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, safety, and labor relations.
