About the Role

The Inventory Control Tower Sr. Manager will play a critical role in ensuring effective inventory management across our global supply chain, utilizing advanced analytics and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enable seamless inventory management and meet product demand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Monitoring & Analysis: Regularly analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock movement to identify trends, potential shortages, or excesses.
  • Inventory Optimization: Utilize forecasting tools and methods to predict future inventory needs and optimize inventory levels, minimizing holding costs while ensuring product availability.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update inventory records, ensuring data accuracy in all inventory management systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with SIOP, Finance, Supply Chain, BU leadership, Sales, Operations, and Warehouse teams to align on inventory needs and priorities.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance inventory processes and tools to ensure efficiency, relevance, and business needs alignment.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on inventory metrics, including stock levels, turnover rates, potential stockouts, and other KPIs.
  • Issue Resolution: Act as a point of contact for any inventory-related issues and drive resolution in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the inventory process and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Training: Train and guide other team members on inventory best practices and new tools or processes as needed.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

  • Adequate English level to handle fluent and assertive conversations (written and spoken).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Availability to work on-site at Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon (Plant B).
  • 10+ years experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related area OR advanced degree & 7+ years experience.
  • Proficient MS Office suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5% travel availability.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
