Job Scope & Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Cash Leader to join our BSNA field finance organization. This individual will work in a multi-disciplinary team of peers and be responsible for report development and preparation, analysis, and preparing input to financial presentations and other projects requested.

The Market Cash Leader will assist the Regional Controller and the Regional Cash Leader in driving business results (Trade Working Capital targets). They will coordinate the planning and reporting of financial results consistent with long-term business objectives. Additionally, they will provide training, counseling, and support to Regional Teams on a wide variety of business/financial issues to ensure adequate internal controls and satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule AR Calls to follow up and drive activities to close out open items.
  • Assign ownership as required to close out disputes.
  • Prepare and report on the status of disputes in the areas, including time to resolve, and the identification of root causes.
  • Participate within the area to ensure alignment on booking/billing requirements for our customers.
  • Research and identify key drivers on the top negative cash flow jobs in every Branch team.
  • Monitor legal collections, particularly with any local outside counsel. Provide a status summary to the Area and Regional leadership.
  • Monitor and align on monthly A/R write-offs with area leaders.
  • Assist the Regional Finance Director & Regional Cash Leader in conducting Trade Working Capital financial performance reviews.
  • Complete a quarterly audit on Accounts Payable to ensure we are paying per standard terms and have majority of vendors on Prime Revenue.
  • Work with the Regional Finance Director & Regional Cash Leader to drive cash collection goals to achieve Trade Working Capital targets.
  • Identify barriers impacting cash collections and propose solutions, including recommended training.
  • Review monthly financial results and business metrics for the region and identify issues and propose corrective actions.
  • Assist the Area Controller/Analyst with monthly regional performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Minimum a Bachelor's Degree (Accounting/Finance preferred).
  • + 3 years in Finance/Accounting.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivables, general accounting, and Inventory.
  • Business understanding of Accounts Receivables, collections, and associated metrics, cash flow metrics, Trade Working Capital, POC Revenue vs Billings.
  • Ability to support, monitor, and report financial results in a multi-location field operation.
  • Able to prepare basic Trade Working Capital financial statements.
  • Working understanding of legal collections.
  • Understand inventory, cycle counting, and interpret inventory trends.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills as well as the ability to communicate with a range of audiences and personalities.
  • Use of Excel (v-lookup and pivot tables).
  • Strong English skills and level.
  • Shared services or customer contact center background and experience preferred.
