About the Role

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Performance Test Lead to join our team. As a key member of our Technology Quality group, you will be responsible for leading the performance testing efforts for our large-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performance Testing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive performance testing strategy to ensure the scalability and reliability of our applications.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Plan, conduct, and manage a broad range of systems and application testing deliverables for IT projects.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach.
  • Test Results Analysis: Analyze and communicate test results to project teams; recommend appropriate course of action.
  • Project Management: Provide accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration and work effort, along with confidence level, and foreseeable dependencies.
  • Risk Management: Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing risks/issues, and taking corrective action as necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Team Leadership: Act as advisor and mentor for junior members of the team. Resolve a variety of complex issues through evaluative judgment and analytical thought.
Requirements
  • Experience: 6-10 years of experience in Business Analysis or Systems Analysis.
  • Skills: Ability to effectively use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques. Requires communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence, and convince others.
  • Education: Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Background: Strong technical background in performance testing and optimization of large global multi-tiered applications.
  • Tools and Technologies: Experience with performance testing tools, profiling tools, automation testing. Prior experience with Load Runner Enterprise and Jenkins.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalling.
  • Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, and APM.
