About the Role

Littelfuse is a leading global manufacturer of electronic components, serving over 100,000 customers across various industries. As a Materials Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of raw materials and components to support our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize service levels while minimizing inventory levels
  • Requisition and expedite materials through production
  • Review and analyze current production schedules to support the manufacturing process
  • Create and track purchasing orders to ensure timely delivery of raw materials
  • Control stock levels of raw materials according to business guidelines
  • Analyze demand projections for raw products and provide recommendations for inventory management
  • Work closely with schedulers and production staff to establish business rules for order priorities and expedites
  • Utilize and monitor material planning procedures to ensure consistent delivery
  • Support the finance department with past due/pending invoices
  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve performance on inventory levels and lead times
Requirements
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Logistics, or a related field
  • Fluency in English (80% speaking and reading/writing)
  • High attention to detail
  • 1 year of experience in raw material purchasing and vendor management
  • Initiative and strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain concepts and MS Office Package
  • Strong communication and technical skills
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
