Main Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of security personnel, providing timely and specific feedback, including disciplinary and performance reviews.
• Oversee the nightly workflow, schedules, and assignments of security officers, ensuring seamless operations.
• Develop and implement security and risk mitigation protocols and procedures for the ECA LNG site and designated construction areas.
• Provide specialized physical security for and monitor access to limited and restricted access areas, such as warehouses, inventory areas, network equipment areas, project offices, and employee files.
• Conduct regular site walk-throughs and security inspections to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Take proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment for all project employees, fostering a culture of safety and security.
• Perform other security-focused related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by the Site Security Manager.
• Liaise with project stakeholders and contractors to address security-related issues and concerns.
• Provide administrative and technical support to improve security procedures, policies, and protocols for the onsite security guard force.
• Respond to security incidents on and off-site, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
• Participate in the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and protocols, serving as an acting officer on call/duty at night.
• Prepare and conduct inductions for new hires and existing staff, including training on security-related risks and threats toward project employees and assets.

  Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a relevant field.
  • Three years of physical security experience.
  • Two years of security supervisory experience.
  • Two years of security site construction experience.

  Skills and Attributes

  • Proficient knowledge of Access Control systems and software.
  • Knowledge of CCTV installation and operation.
  • Extensive knowledge and ability to provide training on security policies and procedures.
  • Ability to develop emergency management protocols.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Self-motivated, with strong ability to independently make decisions and resolve problems.
  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work well within a team setting.
  • Positive and professional with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ready to embrace new tasks and working practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Fluent English speaker.
