About the Role

Convatec Inc. is a global medical products and technologies company, focused on solutions for the management of chronic conditions. We are seeking a skilled Continuous Improvement Specialist to support the achievement of global quality and operating cost reduction goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute kaizen events and actions related to Cost reduction and CPS programs and strategies.
  • Perform or assist in site teams trained in problem solving methodology, through execution and/or training to solve real world problems.
  • Execute problem solving activities to close KPI non-compliance gaps, quality standards and plant objectives.
  • Conduct GEMBA walks with focus on Lean waste and perform continuous improvement assessments to measure baseline performance and lead improvement execution.
  • Assist in the development of gap analyses to benchmark and/or exceed industry standards and implement True North Objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience working within Medical Devices.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, working with Lean Continuous Improvement tools, Lean analytical tools/techniques, and Cost Reduction Projects.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and SAP.
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
