What You Will Do
The Supply Chain Development Program is a 2-year program that develops recent college graduates and early-career individuals into future leaders of Johnson Controls. During the 2-year commitment, individuals spend 6 months in each of 4 rotations to gain an overall understanding of material control, lean methodologies, manufacturing, and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Seek to learn and develop understanding of cross-functional Supply Chain and Operations from assignment teams and leaders.
- Leverage Voice of Customer, Data Collection, and Analysis to deliver continuous improvement and sustainability.
- Generate timely analysis to support decisions that generate efficiencies and simplification in scheduling and operations.
- Establish and manage databases or information with data integrity to develop analysis that enables materials control, scheduling decisions, supplier performance, and other functional KPIs.
- Maintain effective working relationships and communication with all departments, taking advantage of networking opportunities.
- Learn the JCMS maturity model and support plants in meeting standards and improvements.
- Effectively demonstrate an understanding of how Supply Chain activities impact Revenue Capture, Margin Expansion (Savings), and Cash Flow.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics, or Business Management/Administration.
- Ability to relocate across Mexico for each assignment (4 rotations, 6 months each assignment).
- Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including strong Excel skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability.
- Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
- Normal mechanical and analytical ability is a must with knowledge of statistical techniques and problem resolution.
